Common cron expressions, explained.
Every expression here is one developers actually look up. Each page explains what the expression does, what its five fields mean, where it shows up in real systems, and when it next runs on your clock. The variations at the bottom of a page are the ones asked for next.

Where these expressions work
All of them are standard five-field cron expressions: minute, hour, day of month, month, day of
week. They run as written in crontab, systemd timers, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes
CronJobs, and most schedulers. Quartz-style six-field expressions add a leading seconds field and
are a different shape, so they are not covered here.
Want to build one instead of read one? The generator writes the expression from the schedule you describe, and the parser reads one you paste in.
